How to play
Build a cast of characters armed with unique abilities. Take your opponents down to 0, or be the only player left with a playable actionActionAny icon and text in the bottom-left corner of a card. Play on your turn., and you win.
Characters are assembled piece by piece, head, torso, legs, from hundreds of cards drawn by artists all over the world. Inspired by the surrealist drawing game, no two builds are ever quite the same.

Builds must be complete to actActionAny icon and text in the bottom-left corner of a card. Play on your turn., attack, reactReactionAny icon and text in the top-left corner. Play in response to any action or reaction., or defend. When you attack, your opponent picks: defend with a buildBuildAs an action: place a card on a board from your hand. As a noun: a column or character on a board., discard shieldsShieldDiscard as a reaction to prevent the number of damage shown inside., or both. If they can't do either, you hit the player directly. Defending with a build stops excess damage rolling over to the player; defending with shields alone doesn't.

Attacking

Defending

Both builds are complete, so both can attack, react, and defend.
Ranged
Taking aim
Shooter

Target

Six Shooters has two target icons. That's still one action, the card's action for the turn, but it fires two shots of 2.

Neighbor

The number in the bomb is its total damage: 11. The grid beside it shows how that damage lands: 3 to the center, 1 to each of the eight cards around it.

Common questions
- How many players?
- At least 2. Play 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or every player for themselves. We'd keep it to 5 at the most. Past that it's a lot to track.
- What age is it for?
- Call it PG-13, but know your crew. There are some adult themes in here, and if you're playing against someone young, don't be weird. Take those cards out of your deck.
- When can I buy it?
- We're getting a shop up on the site soon. The Kickstarter is the big launch, likely summer 2027.
- How many cards in a pack?
- That depends on which manufacturer we go with. We're aiming for 12 to 15 cards a booster, and 15 to 18 in the Artist Series packs.

Action
Any icon and text in the bottom-left corner of a card. Play on your turn.
Adjacent
Any card sharing an edge with the source card. Not diagonals.
Bang
Build anytime as an interrupt. Takes effect instantly and may alter the current action.
Bang proof
Immune to Bangs.
Binding
Cards that combine hit points with the card above or below. Both must be defeated as one.
Bomb
X = the total damage a bomb can do. Bombs go to the burn pile to use.
Build
As an action: place a card on a board from your hand. As a noun: a column or character on a board.
Burn
Permanent discard to use the ability. The card goes face down into the burn pile, out of the game for good. Hearts can't bring it back.
Burn damage
Damage that burns. A card that takes burn damage equal to its hit points skips the junk pile and goes straight to the burn pile.
